C.H.E.F. stands for Cultivating Healthy Eating Fanatics and is a FUN one-of-a-kind 4-H youth day camp where you will learn about healthy eating and exercising guidelines using MyPlate, food safety, 4-H Foods project offerings and their requirements for judging and fairs, table settings, meal planning, budgeting and cooking!

Registration is open for 2019! C.H.E.F. will be a two-part experience in 2019. 

CHEF: Starter Edition
March 1st
5:00pm to 9:00pm @ Eastern Brown HS
Open to youth Grades 3rd-5th or who have no kitchen experience
Cost: Free for Brown County; $5 for out of county

CHEF: Starter Edition is geared toward our younger cooks and those with limited to no kitchen experience. All youth will have the opportunity to practice kitchen skills. 

CHEF: Day Camp
March 2nd
8:00am-5:00pm @ Eastern Brown HS
Open to youth grades 6th and Up!
Cost: $5.00

Highlights include 4-H Yoga, Grocery Store Field Trip, and a Cooking Showdown!

 

HOW TO REGISTER FOR BOTH!

Download and submit the registration form available HERE! Please send registration (both) and payment (CHEF: Day Camp) to the OSU Extension Office, Brown County at 325 W. State St. Bldg. B, Georgetown, OH 45121. Checks should be made payable to OSU Extension.

Registration is limited! Registrations will be accepted until February 26 or spaces are filled, whichever happens first. Additional forms will be provided at that time via the email address provided.
