  2. Jul. 25, 2020 8:00am to 10:00am

    All market and commercial lambs and breeding sheep MUST tag in on July 25th, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at the fairgrounds in Georgetown, to show at the Brown County Fair. All lambs must be owned and in possession of the exhibitor by July 18, 2020.  Prior to tag-in, please remove all tags from your lamb’s ears except the scrapie identification tags. These are federal USDA tags and it is illegal to remove them. All lambs MUST have a scrapie tag in one ear at tag-in. If you purchased a lamb and it doesn’t have the tag, check with the breeder prior to tag-in.

    Applications for the 2020 Brown County Junior Fair King and Queen and Industry Ambassador are available online. All applications must be filled out and submitted ONLY via online. Applications are due by 4:30 p.m., August 1, 2020 (or next business day if the deadline falls on a weekend). The applicant's junior fair club/chapter adviser and a parent/guardian must also sign this document. This signed form is due, by submitting it online, by 4:30 p.m. August 1, 2020.

  5. Aug. 07, 2020 6:00pm to 7:30pm

    Chicks must be picked up on Friday, August 7th, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the fairgrounds by the junior exhibitor or immediate family member. All chicken paperwork must be completed at tag-in. Poultry (Meat Chicken's only) Information Sheet. 

    Please bring a carrier to pick up the chicks.  Refer to:  Traveling Home with chicks

  6. Aug. 29, 2020 9:00am to 10:00am

    Geese, Ducks, Turkeys, Fancy Chickens and Wildlife will be Saturday, August 29th from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at the Georgetown High School. (FFA area)

    Note...Wildlife exhibitors should only bring a photo of their project to tag-in on August 29th.

  7. Aug. 29, 2020 9:00am to 11:00am

    Rabbit tag-in will be Saturday, August 24th. Fancy Rabbits from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and Meat Rabbit & tattooing from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Georgetown High School (FFA Area).

    Companion Animal information sheet and picture of you with your companion animal is due by September 1, 2020, to the OSU Extension - Brown County office, 325 W. State Street, Bldg B, (fairground) Georgetown, Ohio.  

    For those who are exhibiting CATS and/or FERRETS: CERTIFICATE OF VACCINATION (Required)

  9. Sep. 14, 2020 6:00pm to 8:00pm

    Junior Fair Horse Class sign ups and clean up the barn day will be Monday, September 14th, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pending guidance from COVID-19. Bring sponges/rags, buckets, broom, Clorox/cleaners and gloves. Members will need to attend one of the cleanup days to participate in the fair.
