Test Out Opportunity: If a youth is 15+ as of January 1, 2015 they are eligible to take the test out option. Youth have one opportunity to pass the test each year; if they pass the test they do not have to attend QA training for up to three years. For example: if a youth is 15 at the time they take and pass the test, they will have to either test out again at 18 or attend a quality assurance class that year. If a youth tests out at 16, they will not have to attend QA training for the rest of their 4-H career. This is a change/clarification from previous years.
