Who: Any Brown County 4-H'er once they turn 13.
When: Junior Leaders typically meet the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm at the Extension Office. If a meeting is cancelled or changed it will be updated on our calendar and posted on the Brown County 4-H Facebook Page. An email will also be sent out to the Junior Leaders listserv.
What: Junior Leaders (JLs) is a teen leadership group. Members participate in leadership and service-learning projects selected and planned by members; JLs also assist with different 4-H events throughout the year such as school promotional visits. Junior Leaders also participate in social activities such as lock-ins and ski trips.
How: Teens can join at any time once they turn 13. Just show up to a meeting! The JL year runs October-September. Members who participate in a minimum number of events and activities are recognized at the end of the year recognition event for completing the JL year.
