Brown County Junior Fair Market Turkey Changes Beginning in 2026 there will be a group order for Market Turkeys through the Junior Fair. This will be similar to the Market Chicken process.
- The group order will be optional in 2026 and required in 2027 to order Market Turkeys through this process.
- Exhibitors must sign up for a Market Turkey Project (4-H project 150TM) by April 1 to be eligible.
- Orders due by April 8th; tentative arrival of poults is May 18th.
- Exhibitors ordering through this process can receive 3 or 5 birds.
- Thanks to a program by Cooper Farms we can receive up to 5 free poults per exhibitor this year. To cover the cost of transportation, there will be a $5 charge per exhibitor.
