Brown and Clermont County Extension are partnering with Empower Youth to fill weekend food packs with a family favorite - peanut butter and jelly! This classic sandwich is a good source of protein and is easy for school-aged youth to make on their own. Empower Youth provides food packs to more than 750 youth each week in the areas they serve. The weekend food packs help to spread the love when families are spread too thin!
Join us in making November a month of giving by donating unopened, store-bought jars of peanut butter and jelly or nut butter alternative, or jam. No expired, opened, homemade items or pre-made sandwiches will be accepted. Plastic containers are preferred.
Drop-off your donations at the Brown County Extension Office now through November 22nd! The 4-H club with the most donations will win a pizza party, but we highly encourage community members, friends and families to participate also!
