The 2016 Brown County Junior Fair Sale Bill is now available. The Friday Sale will begin at 2pm with the beef cattle sale. The order of the sale will be: Market Steer, Feeder Calves, Dairy Beef Feeder. The Small Animal Sale will begin at 4:00pm or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the beef sale. The order of the small animal sale will be: Ducks, Geese, Single Fryer Chicken, Meat Pen Chickens, Meat Pen Rabbits

Join Laura Wood and members of the Brown County 4-H Junior Leaders as they walk a mile around the fairgrounds! These teens are promoting healthy living and invite all fairgoers to join them every morning at 8am. Individuals will go for a mile walk around the fairgrounds and recieve a token for participating. Walkers will also be entered into a daily drawing for a giftcard. If you participate all six days, you will be entered into a drawing for a FitBit Alta. Meet at Rhonemus Hall at 8am with your walking shoes on! Just think, you will be working off some of that fair food.

Quality care of animals should always be a top priority. As we are rapidly approaching the 2016 Brown County Fair, we want to remind all of our animal exhibitors of these practices and specifically biosecurity practices. While we are reminding our 4-H and FFA members of these practices, these apply to anyone raising animals.
Biosecurity practices should be followed at all times, and here are just a few reminders:

The Brown County 4-H Committee is selling Brown County 4-H T-Shirts. All proceeds from the shirts will go toward supporting the 4-H program including educational programs, camps, trips and scholarships. The shirts are available through pre-order only and orders are due by August 1st.
For individuals affiliated with a club, please place your order through your club. Payment should be made to your club, and one club check wrote for the entire order. Shirts will then be distributed through the club.

2016 County Wide Recycling Project
The Brown County 4-H Committee is again sponsoring a county wide recycling project for 2016. Clubs can participate by submitting receipts showing proof of recycling their aluminum cans.
