OSU Extension – Brown County is hiring! We are hiring for a Program Assistant (PA) to work as part of the overall Extension team with responsibilities in the areas of 4-H, Agriculture, and Natural Resources, and Community Development. The selected candidate will be responsible for office coverage on Fridays and other days as needed. The standard hours will be 32 hours a week with the potential for additional hours occasionally based on programming needs. Some nights and weekends will be required.

Congratulations to our 2021 Brown County 4-H delegates to the Ohio State Fair! Project judging was held last night and the judges were extremely impressed with each and every one of our 4-H members who participated. All of the youth have a lot to be proud of!

Identifying these plants are also important in our forages as they are toxic to livestock. The Brown County 4-H Committee is sponsoring a county-wide recycling project for 2021. Clubs can participate by submitting receipts showing proof of recycling any recyclable.
