Illustrated Talk or Demonstration---without use of computer technology (6-9 minutes in length)
J-1 Junior Individual (age 8-10)
J-2 Junior Team (age 8-10)

Illustrated Talks or Demonstrations---with or without the use of Computer Technology (9-12 minutes in length)
J-3 Intermediate Individual (age 11-13)
J-4 Intermediate Team (age 11-13)
J-5 Senior Individual (age 14 and up)
J-6 Senior Team (age 14 and up)
 

CLASSES: Marketing Division

Members do NOT accompany these entries to judging. 
J-7 Junior Individual (age 8-10) – Thank You Card without use of computer graphics or scrapbooking tools
J-8 Junior Individual (age 8-10) – Thank You Card with the use of computer graphics or scrapbooking tools
J-9 Intermediate Individual (age 11, 13) – Holiday Card without the use of computer graphics or scrapbooking tools
J-10 Intermediate Individual (age 11, 13) – Holiday Card with the use of computer graphics or scrapbooking tools
J-11 Senior Individual (age 14 and up) – 4-H Infomercial Promoting 4-H -- a 2-4 minute video promoting 4-H
 

CLASSES: Shooting Sports Public Speaking Competition  

Members must be enrolled in a shooting sports project.
J-18 Junior (age 8-13) Shooting Sports Topic -- 3-5 minutes in length
J-19 Senior (age 14-18) Shooting Sports Topic -- 5-8 minutes in length
J-20 Junior (age 8-13) Living History Topic -- 3-5 minutes in lenght
J-21 Senior (age 14-18) Living History Topic -- 5-8 minutes in length

Guidelines

All classes will follow the Ohio State Fair Communication Days** and Shooting Sports Public Speaking Contest guidelines. Please review the guidelines while preparing for your classes. Presentation and Marketing guidelines can be found HERE. Shooting Sports Public Speaking Contest Guidelines can be found HERE.
**For county judging, NO live animals will be allowed in the building. You should plan accordingly and considering using a prop as a substitute. 
Youth are eligible to enter one class in EACH category. Ex. One presentation class, one marketing class and one shooting sports public speaking class.
