June 2 - This week we learn about eFields research in Brown County with James Morris, discuss cover crop test plots at Farm Science Review with Jason Hartschuh and Amanda Douridas, and have another woodland identification with Dave Apsley.

 

May 26 - This week we learn about the importance of calling 811 before you dig or conduct field work over buried power or gas lines, learn about horse barrel racing, and forages.

February 10 - Valentine's Day is this Sunday. As chocolate is a popular Valentine's Day gift, in this week's episode of the Southern Ohio Farm Show we learn more about Chocolate. Dr. Mary Kay Pohlschneider, professor of Food Science, discusses the process of making chocolate and how to conduct a chocolate taste test. Mechelle Frost, director of the Highland County Senior Citizens Center, provides a demonstration on how to make hot chocolate bombs. We also discuss sustainability practices to use in the kitchen.
